We had our final presentation today. Aside from some technical difficulties, (stupid Mac) it was a triumph. (I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS)

Our last great volunteer event. We went to Cover the Homeless, an event where homeless people come and get food and clothes and stuff.S

We wrapped socks. It was more interesting than it sounds.

Starting on Monday the 16th through Wednesday the 25th, we will have collection boxes on the Paradise Valley Community College campus in the fitness center, library, KSC building, and life science building.

Using our newly aquired funds, we bought 98 pairs of socks at Savers today, during their 50% off Veterans Day sale. Now the sock graph doesn't look as pitiful.

55 new shoes!

Launched new website of awesomeness.

We went to four garage sales today, and got 28 pairs of shoes and 4 pairs of socks. Not bad for a couple of hours!

We met and got our schedules together for what we were going to do for the garage sales.

First group meeting outside of class. It also is Talk Like A Pirate Day.
We are going to work with Shoebox Ministry, Inc., and our goal is to get 1000 pairs of socks and 200 pairs of shoes. Either new or very gently used. We aim to be done with everything by Thanksgiving. We’re going to go around garage sales looking for cheap shoes, and maybe they’ll be nice and let us have them for free. :)
